We had a weekend full of parties, it has been that way for the last couple of weeks. I love it, I love getting time to hang out with people. Saturday we had my graduation party and I didn't know exactly how many people were going to come, my mother and Maria were cooking up a storm they had their catering pans out like we were going to feed an army or something. They made beans, rice, tortillas, meat, and my favorite menudo! What a treat! The whole back yard was set up with tables, and thank God the cows didn't bring their odor that night. :)
I was very pleased on who showed up that night, I felt very loved and special. The Cornejo's pretty much started the party because their family is huge, then parts of my family came, then lots of different friends. The Bogumills were one of the first to come to the party and right away the boys wanted to go swimming, well we had Dreke out for a little bit before everyone came so I told the boys to make sure Dreke smells their hands to know who they are kind of like introducing themselves to him. Well Seth goes up to Dreke holds out his hand and was like, "hi, I'm Seth Michael Bogumill." Isn't that so precious?! Of course my dog didn't have a clue what he was doing but it was still cute. So everybody is swimming having a good old time, more and more people are coming, I'm thinking it's great because I love to have lots of people over it wouldn't be a real Murillo party otherwise. I was glad to see Jordan and Susie, Jordan said the night before that he wasn't sure that they could make it, so I was happy that they came. The Cloud's blessed me by coming, my Godfather and his family, Alfred and Coraline, the Howards, a couple of my aunts and uncles from both sides of the family, the Hernandez family, my friend Jojo's uncle Peter showed up with his friend Andrea, the Fergusons.
One of the high lights of the night was that I was talking to my aunts and cousins, I see Jen Ferguson (Miller) walk in the room. I screamed, I was like, "you, it's you!" then I got all choked up, my eyes were getting watery, she came up and hugged me saying surprise! I was trying to speak to her but I couldn't get my words out because I was just going to start crying. That was the best surprise ever, I didn't want to leave her side but there were lots of other people that I needed to talk to. After awhile I had another surprise my friend Johnathan walks over to where we are eating, I am like ohmygoodness, this must be the day for surprises. It was because I didn't know that I was going to have a DJ either, my parents rock at planning parties. It was funny though because we got the cops called on us twice that night, I guess my neighbors aren't used to parties. Allyson was a little late and there were cops in front of the house. Three of them, (I think they were leaving) they told her that they were the strippers, and she was like "uh, I don't think so, you don't know Cela." ha ha. Next time we will just have to invite our neighbors to join the party so that they know that we aren't going to to anything wrong.
Well I just want to say thanks to all that made Saturday so special to me, it was an awesome night, I had lots of fun. I love you all!

Hooray I graduated! I can't believe that I made it! Seven stinking long years, the speaker last night at the graduation said that he went through college on the five year plan well I had him beat! hee hee. It was so beautiful, I don't have pictures right now because my brother didn't bring his camera and Coraline hasn't given us hers yet. They will be up soon.

A young, new preacher was walking with an older, more seasoned preacher in the garden one day. Feeling a bit insecure about what God had for him to do; he was asking the older preacher for some advice. The older preacher walked up to a rose bush and handed the young preacher a rosebud and told him to open it without tearing any of the petals. The young preacher looked in disbelief at the older preacher and was trying to figure out what a rosebud could possibly have to do with his wanting to know the will of God for his life and ministry. But, because of his great respect for the older preacher, he proceeded to try and unfold the rosebud while keeping every petal intact. It wasn't long before he realized how impossible this was to do. Noticing the young preacher's inability to unfold the rosebud without tearing it, the older preacher began to recite the following poem:
It is only a tiny rosebud
A flower of God's design;
But I cannot unfold the petals
With these clumsy hands of mine.
The secret of unfolding flowers
Is not known to such as I.
GOD opens this flower so sweetly,
When, in my hands, they die.
If I cannot unfold a rosebud,
The flower of God's design,
Then how can I have the wisdom
To unfold this life of mine?
So, I'll trust in Him for leading
Each moment of my day.
I will look to Him for His guidance
Each step of the Pilgrim's way.
The pathway that lies before me
Only my Heavenly Father knows.
I'll trust him to unfold the moments,
Just as He unfolds the rose
